Building change together
Dear colleagues, friends, and Argosaronic enthusiasts,
Throughout the region, local organisations, communities, scientists and partners continue to demonstrate what can be achieved when environmental challenges are addressed together.
This edition offers a snapshot of our recent work across the Argosaronic. We are particularly pleased to share AEF’s first Impact Report, looking back on what we’ve achieved together over the past eighteen months and the partnerships, knowledge and local action that have made it possible. You’ll also find highlights from nine completed and ongoing environmental initiatives, spanning marine conservation, freshwater resilience, environmental education, sustainable tourism and community stewardship, alongside updates on our latest collaborations and activities.
Looking across these stories, one thing stands out: meaningful conservation is built collectively. Every initiative, partnership and conversation contributes to a broader effort to protect and restore the region’s natural heritage.
Thank you for being part of this growing effort. We hope you enjoy this edition and wish you a wonderful summer in the Argosaronic or wherever the season takes
Warm regards,
Daphne Mantziou
