JOIN OUR TEAM: Marine Project Officer – Marine Programme 

The Argosaronic Environment Foundation (AEF) is hiring a Marine Project Officer – Marine Programme to support the coordination and delivery of its marine conservation work across the Argosaronic region. This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role combining project management, community engagement, and collaboration with grassroots groups and partner organisations, with scope for growing responsibility over time. 

Role & Practical Information 

· Location: Remote (based in Athens or the Argosaronic region), with regular travel 

· Contract: One-year consultancy contract, with possibility of extension 

· Fee range: €22,000–€24,000 (gross per year), depending on experience 

· Working hours: Full-time, with flexibility depending on programme needs 

 

Profile 

· Background in marine, environmental, or related disciplines 

· Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in environmental project management, preferably related to marine conservation and/or community engagement 

· Strong organisational and communication skills; fluency in Greek and English 

· Comfort travelling regularly and working remotely as part of a small team
