AEF is supporting Paths of Greece with a grant of 3.000 €, to organise a workshop-like event this October to build capacity within local authorities to develop tourism on hiking and cycling. Currently the Argolic region lacks this type of tourism although the region allows for it and it is more and more requested.

Paths of Greece will facilitate the workshop and will welcome all interested groups from the region to share opinions and network around the development of hiking and cycling trails in order to cultivate a feeling of ownership. The workshop will include sharing knowledge through presentations of success stories and inspiration for discussion and brainstorming. A short walk to an interesting site of the region will take place. Lastly the participants will be involved in the development of guidelines which they will be encouraged to use.
